Jiska Classen is a security researcher at Secure Mobile Networking Lab, TU Darmstadt. Her research focus is wireless and mobile security, such as Bluetooth chips in recent mobile devices. Bluetooth exposes a large zero-click exploitation target, and due to the Bluetooth specification is already powerful without further escalation into the host. Her Bluetooth journey covers stacks on various operating systems, such as Android, iOS, Linux, and macOS, as well as emulation and fuzzing of Bluetooth firmware, new escalation strategies, and breaking pretty much everything within Bluetooth chip hardware.
